Since each baghouse has its own set of characteristics and system parameters, it is important to evaluate each of the following variables in order to choose a fabric best suited to the system. The felt filter bags are used in pulse jet collectors and woven filter bags are used in reverse air bag houses. The guidelines for selection of fabric and finish are shown in the chart below.
